About Me
I am an average ordinary guy .........ha ha had you going nothing ordinary about me. I am a recovering alcoholic (sobriety date of 4-17-2006). I like to go to aa meetings. And for fun I can be caught working with leather and chainmail. I also spend an inordinately amount of time dressed up as one of those guys from the capital one commercial. Wenching is fun until one of them catches you......
Music
everything
Movies
I like movies
TV
Don't watch other than as something to occupy my brain while I am working on chain mail.
Books
Alot recently read all of Tom Clancy. Got into it in jail(the only book in the place had to shiv three guys to get it) and really enjoyed them. Umberto Eco is an awesome writer( if you likeed da vinci code then try his Foucault's pendulum much more complex) For historical fiction I love Edward Rutherford ( he has some really good books about england, ireland and russia that follow families through time and how they lived in different eras) or Diana Gabaldon ( some call them romances but i Think James Fraser is a good example of a real man)

Welcome to the shire, Ed. We trust that you will meet many worthy friends. And perhaps since you live in Des Moines, you may wish to consider our faire, the Des Moines Renaissance Festival (first three weekends of September) as your home faire also? Come by the royal tent opening weekend and say hello, or, since I am also Community Relations Director, let me know if you wish to audition for a street character.
